To address this,THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY has created the REAL ESTATE FOUNDATION OF SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, a separate public benefit corporation. The purpose of the Real Estate Foundation is to facilitate the sale of donated real estate, from anywhere in the United States, in order to pass the net proceeds of that sale on to San Luis Obispo County charities designated by the donor.
